If you're looking for an idea for your wedding drinks reception, or you want to keep guests entertained at a party, my Live Caricatures can help you create a fun atmosphere that everyone will remember. And your guests will all get something unique to take home.

My Name is Brendan O’Rourke. I am a caricature artist based in Athy, co Kildare.

I can provide entertainment for your party, corporate, or promotional event.

With caricatures of your guests drawn on the spot, the old fashioned way with a marker and paper.

Everyone gets a laugh, and a fun keepsake to take home.

Icebreaker

Starting the event with live caricatures is a great way to get everyone smiling and into the party mood

Or if there's gap between two parts of the event, this can be a nice way to fill the empty time and keep the buzz going

Only guests who are brave enough and ready for a laugh need to come forward. Some people will be straight up into the hot seat for a drawing. Others prefer to just watch, and some only get brave after they've seen a few examples.

3 Minutes per Drawing

Each drawing takes me around 3 minutes. Usually less. Often at a party you will have friends wanting to be drawn in groups

How It Works

Let me know the where and when using the form above. I'll get back to you to confirm

Price is €150 per hour

Bookings are typically for 2 hours

On the day I'll arrive ahead of time, get set up, and put up my sign.

I’ll need 3 chairs and a spot with a decent bit of light

Keepsake to take home and remember the day

Caricatures are presented in a clear envelope to protect them from fingers and liquids. Like this. Size is A3 so that’s 16.5 inches lengthways.

Some people get them framed and hang them up at home afterwards.

Adds a bit of interest to the photos taken on the night. Any photos I take I will forward them to you the next day.

Recognizeable and Funny

Either someone will volunteer to start us off, or I'll go looking for someone to coax into it

And soon enough there will be a queue forming

It's all light hearted. No wild exaggerations or insulting drawings
